Research paper idea#1 freewrite

I have decided research paper idea#1 - science and technology: promise or peril, will be the basis idea of my research. i plan to write about the benefits of technology like the ability to quickly gain vast information, as well as the disadvantages such as how it effects our attention span. Those aren't all that I will research. I plan on discussing how technology like AI will effect jobs, the potentiality of cloning, and lastly enhancing the human brain via drugs or genetic manipulation.

Internet technologies

I believe that internet technoligies are effecting people's minds, but not in a way that can be permanently damaging to lives. Without the current technology we have now, we wouldn't be able to learn anywhere near as quickly, or complete research as efficiently. I do believe that it does change people's thinking habits, but change happens consistently. If laziness does occur in more minds because of technology, then all that needs to be done is acknowledge the problem and solve it.

First Blog.

Name's Taj but my friends call me Marcus; my middle name. The username I used is my pet wolf's name pretty much because I couldn't think of anything else. I am in my first year of college and this is my first time really using any form of blogging. I'm majoring in Psychology, because I want to learn how to help people mentally. Since others help save people's lives, i'll be the person to help get their lives back to normal another way.

 I stand in the middle when it comes to being a science or humanities person. I don't want to exactly put myself anywhere without knowing enough about each side first before making a decision so I will say both for now. But from I do know, people seem to be more humanist than scientific recently. More people are willing to think more past what is in front of them.

I hope that I am able to learn more about both perspectives for me to be able to use in my own life, as well as share with others in this cluster. As I said before I don't  really know much, but Im willing to learn for sure.
